2019 NHL Winter Classic®

In 2008 the NHL® began the tradition of the NHL Winter Classic®, a regular-season outdoor game held annually in early January. For the 2019 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic®, the Chicago Blackhawks® and the Boston Bruins® met outdoors for the first time in League history when they faced off at the iconic Notre Dame Stadium™ in South Bend, Indiana. With a capacity of nearly 80,000, the celebrated football stadium, which opened in 1930, hosted the largest live audience to ever witness either team in action. For this marquee event in "The House that Rockne Built", both clubs wore specialty uniforms that paid tribute to the teams' sweaters worn in the 1930's.

Our panoramic prints begin as a high definition photo that is printed with UV resistant ink on heavy art stock. These are available unframed or in 3 frame styles. Before framing, we mount it and secure the panoramic print to a backer board to prevent waviness and warping due to heat and humidity. If you choose a select or deluxe frame with matting, the mats used are pH neutral to protect against degradation of the photo and the colors used match the team or school style guides.
