2019 NCAA® National Championship - Virginia® vs. Texas Tech™

This panorama captures the opening tip-off of the 2019 NCAA® National Championship Game, between the men's basketball teams representing Texas Tech™ from the Big 12 Conference® and the University of Virginia® from the Atlantic Coast Conference™. Playing to a crowd 72,062 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on April 8, 2019, these two teams survived a gauntlet of competitors with the Texas Tech Red Raiders™ upsetting Michigan State® and the Virginia Cavaliers® edging out Auburn® in the semifinal matchups. Ultimately, they competed against each other for a chance to claim the title of 2019 NCAA® National Basketball Champions.
